what does "System Status" on whatsapp?

Happy New Year WhatsApp. Looks like new year in India broke you!

 

It was the year 2016, in the world which we live in.
Waiting for some magic to happen, I got back to WiFi at 1 AM in the morning. Knowing there would be a lot of WhatsApp wishes waiting to be read, I connected to it right away. A few of the notifications came, then they stopped all of a sudden.

I do have a bad internet connection, so thought ’twas due to it. I didn’t want to miss, so activated the mobile’s internet connection (wasn’t first choice because I don’t have a data pack! Gareeb ALERT!!).


Nothing STILL.
Mobile networks must be down. Why else would it not work.
Tried all possible combinations, WhatsApp just didn’t work.
Declared my WiFi and mobile networks DEAD.
Went to see system status online on laptop, WiFi works at a blazing (well OKish) speeds. Retried on phones. No luck. Checked system status of WhatsApp from phone again and what do you know!

This below status we can find out daily time when server is free .
